Both lower and upper bolts are 48 “/ 4 ft(1220mm)
long and can be cut down to suit height of your door and the desired position of the knob.
If your doors are 8.5ft tall in which case the body will be central to the height. Being full height this type of bolt does help to prevent the door from warping and so should help to reduce draughts

The euro cylinder locking espagnolette bolt is normally mounted on the vertical frame of a French door or French window and allows the head and foot of each door to be secured in one movement, suitable for doors up to 3 meters high.
