These Exitex fire-rated packers are designed to sit between the architrave of the door and the wall to help keep them safe in the event of a fire.

The doorset installation should be in accordance with BS476-22 / BS-EN 1634-1 and manufacturers guidelines.

Fire-rated packers must be used in conjunction with foam.

  • 30 and 60 minute fire tested to BS-EN 1634-1 and BS476-22
  • Tested in full-size single and double door sets, not linear gaps
  • Tested with softwood, MDF and hardwood frame sections
  • Tested with gaps between 7mm and 30mm
  • Tested in a retro-fit scenario to allow use for rectification
  • Fire-rated packers must be used in conjunction with foam
  • 1mm, 3mm and 5mm colour co-ordinated fire-rated packers
